The New Year? Already?!

This song makes me think hard about the past year, and makes me think even harder about what resolutions and goals I want to set for the New Year. 

* Getting in Shape (doesn't everyone!?)

* Participate in at least 1 charitable walks/runs a month

* Have more date nights with my husband

* Take at least 2 long weekend family trips

The list could go on and on.... So, I am going to close on this.

This past year has been full of ups and downs, hardships, old and new friendships, becoming a mother and watching my husband be a wonderful father!! I'm not going to lie, this past year has been hard but we have made it through it with the help of a very wonderful support team which includes my family and friends. You know who you are, and I want to thank you so very much for everything!

Our Owl themed Birthday Party!

I wanted to do something unique for Hannah's 10th Birthday Party! 9 months already.

Happy 9 months old Emelia

I am truly blessed to have such a beautiful, happy and healthy baby girl! (knock on wood)

These past nine months, went by faster than pregnancy did.

In the past month my little lad has begun cutting her molars, standing on her own (for only 5-10 seconds then plopping on her bottom), playing SOO BIG, peekaboo, and patty cake. She is also a speed crawler and even faster when you jokingly say, "I'm gonna getcha!" She gets overly exciting while watching Barney, screaming and flapping her arms.

I can’t believe this sweet little one is already 9 months old-and she’s growing more and more adorable every time I look at her!! I love you so very much Emelia!!!

Where has the time gone??

Just wanted to pop in and let you know I'm still here. Business is booming and things are crazy busy. We are currently redecorating our new home, which consist of painting, scrubbing, unpacking and re-organizing. I'm hopefully going to get some Christmas outfits on the site soon, so keep checking back for that! This might make you sick, but Christmas is 2 months from today! Are you ready? I know I'm NO where near! 

Now, get off this thing and go spend some time with the people who mean the most to you!

My Little Model

 

Well, I have to tell you...I have been trying to go for a walk almost everyday and no matter where I am, whether it is walking thru the plaza or going out for breakfast, or  even the grocery store (which by the way she can now sit up in the grocery cart) I have been handing out business cards like crazy. 

 People see Emelia dressed in her clothes she has on and the hair bow or flower headband she is wearing and they all have to stop and comment about how adorable she looks.  Of course when they stop to talk to her she gives them this big smile with her 3 bottom teeth showing.   Precious....anyway, keep us in mind for Christmas, Birthdays, Baby Showers, or just because....we can usually get you the item with in a day or two.  Gotta go...have to go get my tennis shoes on, get Emmie ready and get to work (walking).

Keep Calm

Words cannot even explain how overwhelmed I have been lately.

We are in the middle of buying our first home, fulfilling the lease we are in now, packing, and picking out paint colors. My car was broken into and my cell phone was stolen all in one week. And work, HA, don't even get me started on that topic. I don't think anything else could happen that would make these last couple of weeks any worse. So, Now that I have thrown my own pity party lets talk decorating!!!

 I have spent countless hours thinking of paint colors. There are just too many to choose from.

Here is a sneak peek of the inspiration in Emelia's room.

 I will be making everything including the bedding, I am so excited about it. I'm actually more excited that I have finally decided upon something. You have no idea how many books and magazines I have browsed through trying to find just the right idea.

Teething Babies......

Right now, we are in the teething stage. Yes unfortunately at age 5 months we are a drooling, biting, gnawing, running nose, chin rash TEETHING BABY!!! She has her two bottom teeth and we are anxiously waiting for more. I have tried the freezer/fridge toys. She doesn't much care for them. Then I came across a wonderful product.



 It's called the RAZBABY SILICONE RAZBERRY TEETHER you can find it here. It is one of the most unusual things I've come across in a while for a baby. It looks like a raspberry with its nice bumpy textures to help soothe those aching gums. This is a mommy must have. Please save yourself some sanity and purchase this before nearing this stage.  If you have other remedies please share!!

Super Easy Zippered Pouch

 

I have been looking for a zippered pouch for my diaper bag. Just something small to hold the few things I can never find at the bottom of my diaper bag.  I have found a few, but I am unwilling to pay the ridiculous price for them. So I decided to make my own.

I even added a ruffle and my intial.

Can you really ever have too many photos?

Okay, I will admit. I am one of "those" people who take a picture of anyone and anything. I am the one who always says "ohh, hold on, do it again, or smile......" Yes that is me. I always think, in the end you will thank me.

My new fond obsession is taking pictures of my daughter Emelia. I want to capture every

smile,

frown,

and laugh.
